22 to 27 sept

Starting from PORTOROZ, on the sunny shores of the Adriatic Sea, we offer you a 5-day rally through the majestic Slovenian and Italian Alps. This route will also introduce you to the winding roads and hilly landscapes of northern Croatia.

Following in the footsteps of the Alpine events of the great era, you’ll be able to cross the legendary passes of the Dolomites, which rise to an altitude of over 2,000 metres. The route will also offer some fine regularity tests in the valleys of Croatian Istria and on the shores of Lake Bled.

The last two stages will take place on the mythical slopes of the prestigious ski resort of CORTINA D’AMPEZZO, with a summit finish that will be the high point of this week of rallying marked by conviviality and the ‘gentlemen driver’ spirit.

At the wheel of your classic car, come and discover a dream route in the heart of one of the most beautiful mountain landscapes in the world.

The Rally is available for classic cars build from 1920 to 1978, divided in 3 categories:

  • TOURING’: no time check and no average speed required: enjoy the Dolomites on your own rhythm.
  • ‘CHALLENGER’: route specially designed for ‘soft’ and relax regularity competition, also suitable for beginners.
  • ‘REGULARITY’:  a challenging route, more than 30 Regularity tests and some special stages without metric distance.

This trial will be based on a fully metric tulip arrow road book (no maps).

For added comfort, the route will include a mountain loop so that you can spend two nights in the same top-class hotel: the Grand Hotel Savoia ***** – the favourite hotel of Sissi the Empress – specially chosen by the organisers in Cortina d’Ampezzo.

Typical Slovenian dishes, Italian gastronomy and tasty Croatian cuisine are also on the menu in the high-altitude restaurants with their breathtaking views of the eternal snows.
