The route of the VINTAGE ARDENNES TRIAL 2026 will allow you to discover the most unexpected corners of this green region of the Belgian Ardennes, marked by many exceptional places.

Our aim is to offer you the perfect combination of competition, driving pleasure and historical discoveries.
We are offering a new route that will take you through the great forests of the Ardennes, the Semois Valley, Rochehaut and close to a castle perched on the slopes of the Lesse Valley, close to the French border.
This rally is not just a trial: it is a living tribute to automotive heritage. A celebration of mechanical elegance, with plenty of camaraderie and adventure.
Gentleman driver spirit
With more than 30 teams from all over Europe participating in 2025, the first Vintage Ardennes Trial instantly proved its international appeal.
The warm atmosphere and fair play between participants characterised the entire event. The technical difficulty of the route – combining winding roads, passages through forests on tarmac with one or two cobbled sections – tested not only the skill of the drivers but also that of our vintage mechanics.
All demonstrated tenacity and respect for these machines from another era. Between each section, participants had the opportunity to discover the spectacular landscapes of the Ardennes and enjoy the best of Belgian cuisine in a friendly atmosphere.
The second edition of this rally is also open to a few teams who prefer to follow the Road Book without the pressure of the clock. The TOURING category offers teams the opportunity to complete the course at their own pace and discover the magnificent landscapes of the Ardennes in a relaxed manner.
ELIGIBILITY AND TIMING
The route will be tailor-made exclusively for cars built before 31 December 1945. However, in the Vintage UPRATED category, some vehicles manufactured up to 1949 will be accepted.
The rally takes place over 3 days, with daily distances of 115 to 195 km maximum, in 3 loops around Belgium’s smallest town: Durbuy, in the heart of the Ardennes.
ROAD BOOK AND COMPETITION
The VINTAGE ARDENNES TRIAL 2026 will include navigation legs, Regularity Tests and some special sections that will take place on private land. A tulip arrow road book, 2 easy road maps on connecting legs, all on good quality tarmac roads. Each day: 2 navigation sections, 4 or 5 Regularity sections with average speeds mainly around 40 km/h and not exceeding 45 km/h. A closed circuit may also be on the programme.
TIMING
To stay as close as possible to the atmosphere of the legendary rallies of that era, timing will be done in the traditional way by marshals with hand-held clocks. No electronic or satellite systems will be used, and there will be plenty of human contact throughout the event.
Program
Monday 22 june - 110km
Administrative and technical formalities followed by the first section in the river Meuse region.
Tuesday 23 juin - 195km
Heading South to Belgium, into the heart of the great Ardennes forests and the Semois valley. Lunch in the traditional village of Rochehaut.
Wednesday 24 juin - 180km
The epilogue: the foothills of the Lesse Valley, close to the border with France and the Condroz region.
Evening prize-giving gala.
Hotel
For added comfort, the crews will be staying for 3 nights in the same 5-star hotel: Le Sanglier des Ardennes, in the heart of Durbuy.
The pleasures of the table will be guaranteed thanks to the gastronomic touch of starred chef Wout Bru. 3 different tasty menus will be served each evening in the Bru’sserie Restaurant.
This year, a newly added 3*** hotel option will also be available.

MECHANICAL SERVICE
A team of specialist mechanics will be on hand to help you with any mechanical problems.
An assistance vehicle with a trailer will also be available to take cars back to the hotel if the repairs are more complex.
COST OF PARTICIPATION
3890 € per team of 2 persons and a car, in a Twin Double room (1945 € per person)
410 € per person – single room supplement for 3 nights
